Below is our report from Baltimore this fall. No massive sightings--the swifts avoided some of their favorite chimneys and spread out more. We are finding the peak swift roost period is now about 2 weeks later then it used to be--now occurs late September. Thanks for all the work you do compiling this information.

The location has been the former Drives Inc office building at the foot of 10th Avenue in Fulton, IL Here is my final report for the 2011 season: Sept. 26- 665, . 27th-1500+; 28th-300;, 29th-400;, Sept 30th and Oct 1st-missed; Oct 2 -330, Oct 3rd-300, Oct 4-230, Oct 5, 350;, Oct 6th 210, Oct 7th-145, Oct 8th-160, Oct 9th-missed; Oct 10th- only 12. This is about the final date the same as last year, so welcome the last of them as they fly down the Mississippi flyway. It seems quite likely that few stay over a day on their fall migration, especially so this past week when daily temperatures reached into the mid 80s each day. This will likely be my last report for the 2011 season.
